The backend of Sitio IT makes an automated decision based on the forwarded photo to determine which container (or waste loading station) the object could be sorted into.
How long we store personal data:
Sitio IT does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
- IP address and location data: A few minutes This data is only used in the system to make better decisions.
- Personal data: After termination, 1 month This data is retained until users delete their accounts. Account deletion requests are typically processed within a month.
Sharing personal data with third parties:
Sitio IT will not sell your information to third parties and will only share this information if it is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. When we share your data with third-party companies for data processing, we ensure that they sign a processor agreement to guarantee the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.
